With customized bikes gaining in importance in recent times, Pondicherry Gixxer Club’s Facebook page has revealed a modified Suzuki Gixxer which will inspire every Gixxer owner to modify their bike.
Modified bikes reveal the owner’s individual preferences in style and stance, offering eye catching accents that are sure to make the bike the envy of every viewer and all at a reasonable price. A host of customization firms have come up, promising to modify regular bikes thereby giving them an appeal of a higher end model.
Such is the case of the modified Suzuki Gixxer that recently got a makeover to resemble a Kawasaki Z1000. It has been put up on the Facebook page of Pondicherry Gixxer Club, where it can be noted to sport narrow split headlamps with sharp plastic kit, a massive visor, modified handlebars and rear view mirrors and a host of chrome accents throughout its makeup.
To ape higher end bikes, the Gixxer engine has also been fitted with three shining pipes on either side with crash bobbins while modifications continue to engine under belly, tyre hugger and turn indicators. The modified Suzuki Gixxer sports split seats with a raised pillion section which adds to its appeal while fairing guard with red outer ring and new number plate are also evident.
Despite its cosmetic modifications, the Suzuki Gixxer continues to sport its 154.9cc single cylinder engine offering 14.6 bhp power and 14 Nm torque mated to a 5 speed gearbox.
